Included in your course is a standard paper RDP Table. This RDP is used to calculate your nitrogen level and dive time. This calculation is done prior to every dive. A high percentage of questions in your exam are based on this. It is now possible to use an electronic version of the RDP (eRDPml) and this can also be used in your exam. We VERY strongly recommend the purchase of an eRDPml at the time of booking your course (click to add).

Course Pre-requisites

No diving experience necessary
*Minimum age: 10 - No upper age limit
Able to swim 200 metres any style
Able to tread water/float for 10 minutes

NOTE:- * Students between the ages of 10 to 15 will receive a PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification on completion of training. Junior Open Water divers between the ages of 10 and 11 years may only dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 metres. From age 12 years and above depth is limited to 18 mts.

If you are unsure of your required course dates, simply book your course “Open Dated” and select the dates later. Once selected, course dates are fixed and charge is applicable if you later decide to change the dates (see section 9 on our terms & conditions). *Note: Depending on group size the theory session may run on the Saturday or Sunday. This will be confirmed on the Friday prior to your course.

Many students travel to Maidstone, Kent from other parts of the country to complete their courses with us. Most of our courses can be completed within one or two weekends.
