The PADI open water diver FULL course is divided into 4 areas:-
- Pre-course independent home study with your DVD/RDP (deposit) and Open Water manual (included). We will send these to you by post when you book your course online. The 5 knowledge reviews in the course manual MUST be completed prior to your classroom session.
- Classroom sessions (2 Mornings). In Maidstone - Sat & Sun mornings. Start at 09:30a.m. - Finish around 3.00pm. *Alternatively optional MIDWEEK evening class & pool sessions are available - See Confined Water Training below for details - (Tuesday & Thursdays, 5 sessions. Start at 19:30).
- *Confined Water Training (swimming pool sessions) at Maidstone Leisure Centre on Sat & Sunday (2 days) Start around 4.00pm - Finish 7.00 pm. Typical ratio is 3 to 4 student to each instructor. *Alternatively optional MIDWEEK evening class & pool sessions are available at a supplement on Tuesday & Thursdays (5 sessions). Start at 19:30 - Finish around 21:00
- Open Water Dives at Holborough Lake (inland dive site). During these two days you will demonstrate the skills learned during your confined water training. Start at 8.00 finish 16.00.
PRICE INCLUDES:- Full training, plus an Ultimate Open Water Crewpack. Full Scuba equipment provided for your course, including all air fills, swimming pool fees & issue of PADI referal form.

Course Pre-requisites
- No diving experience necessary
- *Minimum age: 10 - No upper age limit
- Able to swim 200 metres any style
- Able to tread water/float for 10 minutes
NOTE:- * Students between the ages of 10 to 15 will receive a PADI Junior Open Water Diver certification on completion of training. Junior Open Water divers between the ages of 10 and 11 years may only dive with a PADI Professional, a certified parent or certified guardian to a maximum depth of 12 metres. From age 12 years and above depth is limited to 18 mts.
